well, here i am. i have never wanted to have a blog because sometimes i just feel silly writing things down and having others read them. i am the type that will write something and then go back and read it and think, "why on earth did i write that??!!" i guess it really is an issue of self-security and although i am an "open" person and some may even think an outgoing person, it is very difficult for me to bear the thoughts and feelings of my heart and soul and not feel silly doing it.
i got to thinking today though that i would really like to have an archive of my "creative endeavors"....so here it is...enjoy :)

- i'm pretty much a down-to-earth kind of gal. i don't like things too fussy or frou-frou. i realize life is messy and isn't always pretty. i like to laugh and enjoy life and FOOD! when i enjoy something i like to work hard at it. marriage and children have been two of the greatest things of my life. my husband encourages me and listens to me. the best part is that he prays for me. my kids have helped me to "get over my self". they are AWESOME! my heart's main desire is to sit in the Refuge place of my "Heavenly Daddy"--this is what i have lovingly pet-named the One True God. He's my Dad, my Provision, my Everything that could ever truly fill me. my whole being is rocked out that the God of the universe sits down with me and picks me up and listens to every heartache, every sorrow and every joy--and THEN He speaks BACK in return!! how amazing and wonderful!
